Yesterday Mrs Rose came to us with our first project. We have to make a 3 artwork series that connects. As of right now I have no idea what I'm going to do for my series. I was thinking of using clay as my material but I have no idea yet what I'm going to make.
Jake, the thought of beginning a series of connected artworks can be a bit daunting. Would it help to focus on your hope of using clay instead? What sorts of forms or artworks are you hoping to learn about? Is there a certain technique you'd like to explore? Do you want to work on the wheel? Maybe by searching for answers to these questions, you will start to find preferences for your series.
