Portfolio Review

In my opinion my most successful project was our stop motion video me and Braiden worked on. This was the most successful project for 2 reasons...i was very interested in stop motion, and once we got down to making the video it was actually fun to work on. The first few days me and Braiden just argued and ended up quitting making the video, but on the last couple days we concentrated and had a good time making the video. These reasons are why this project was our most successful.

The assignment i struggled with the most was the mozilla app maker test. The reason i struggled with this project was because i found the app itself very hard to work with and with that i didn't enjoy working with it. What i learned from using the app was actually writing a constructive review on it. After using it for a class our teacher asked us to review the app and say what we thought was good about it and what was bad. After a little help i had written a very good review.

The major skills i learned in this class are how to use Photoshop, how to properly write a constructive blog post, and how to make stop motion videos. The Photoshop project we worked on taught me how to use a few of the tools and gave me a basic understanding of how to use the software. Throughout the course we posted the majority of our projects  on blogger. while doing this i learned what makes a good post from a bad one. We watched many examples of good stop motion videos, and what apps to use to make one. After applying these ideas to my own stop motion i now have a great understanding of how to make one. This picture included is the photo shopped picture i made.

With the skills i have learned i can now apply them to my other classes and hopefully improve my writing and computer skills. As far as media arts goes i dont think i will take another course on it because my interest just isn't there.
