| This picture was taken just out of Nipigon on "Polly Lake" Canada day weekend. From Nipigon we take a fifteen minute quad ride down Cameron falls road to a boat launch on the Nipigon River. Usually me and my friends take a 14 ft long boat down the River too the mouth that opens into "Lake Helen". Lake Helen runs along highway 11 and connects to Polly lake. Polly lake is used mostly throughout the summer months as a place for people in the Nipigon area to go camp and get away. There's about 72 camps on Polly, including a public beach, and boat launch for people just looking for a day of fun. Throughout the summer me and my friends try to spend as much time as we can on Polly fishing. The fish caught in Polly are usually big pike, pickerel, and perch. |
