Yesterday I finished my mug. To me it could have been more successful. If I could do it over I would probably try more techniques and try and use the wheel to make it.
Don't feel bad, Jake. It isn't easy to make a mug -- and you made one. It might not have turned out to be as fancy as you might like, but it's functional and it's made by you! If we manage to get a bit more clay this semester, why don't you try again? Considering what you've learned and would like to do, I think you would do really well.
