French Revolution Idea

I started making an outline for my presentation on Prezi. Once i learn more about the art and the revoloution i will be able to expand, this is just a rough idea. I also think that having school Voice thread accounts would be a VERY good idea. It can be used for so many things and my first idea was to use it, before i realized you need a teaching or school account. If we already have school accounts then i think it would be good for students to be taught how to use them.

2 point perspective restart

Free time

I was having a hard time with my two point perspective so I decided to fool around with soap and water. After using different effects on my camera this is what came out.  Starting in the bottom left is the original and the rest with only certain colors showing.

2 point perspective day one

Today i started working on my 2 point perspective peice. I am doing a city scene with buildings and sky scraper. Im goin to start making the street and scenary.

First art assignment

We have started learning how to draw figures using proportion. I attached the before and after of my first attempt.

My First Post

My first post will be explaining my strengths, weaknesses, interests, and my definition of what art is. To me art is the expression of one's self through the use of different materials, presented in a creative way. We can tell how the  artist was feeling or thinking when he made the piece, by simply looking at it. As we begin creating art i would like to use pastels, crayons, clay, and paint. From my expiriances with these materials before, i have a good idea on what id like to do. For clay i want to make a standing sculpture, for pastels i just want to smear them all over and make an abstract peice. With crayons id like to melt them down and let them run across the paper in all different directions. Lastly id like to use paint and splatter it all over my canvas like off of the show dexter. He uses corn syrup and dye to mimic blood spatters and thats what i want to try with different colour paint. My weakness is drawing and paintint something, im creative and have good ideas, i just cant sit and draw and object or paint one.
